Running for over 44 years it has become an institution in the Daylesford region. Led by the volunteers at the railway we are a not for profit organisation that supports the town of Daylesford and its surrounds. We are also a dog friendly market.

Ballarat Farmers Market takes place in central Ballarat near the shores of beautiful Lake Wendouree.

The market runs all year round and has 80 to 130 or more stalls depending on the season. Enjoy a coffee, chai, or hot chocolate, hot food cooked on the spot, fresh vegetables, fruit, bread, olive oil, cheese, jams, chutneys and sauces, clothing, fudge, gifts, health bars, eggs, honey, wine, Cornish pasties, fresh ground coffee, yummy biscuits, and hand-made jewellery.

The Port Fairy Community Market runs at Railway Place on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month and weekly during January.  It brings together a selection of locally grown and handmade products and produce.  The large variety of quality stalls ensures there is something to tempt everyone.  So whether you are looking for a unique gift for someone special or a delicious treat for yourself, our markets are sure to please.

Clunes Farmers and Makers Market is a much-loved local event that takes place in Fraser Street on the second Sunday of each month from 9am to 1pm. Spend a morning engaging with the community that call this gorgeous Gold Rush-era township home.

Held at CERES Joe’s Farmgate the market brings together local artists, makers and producers. There

will be music, catering from Joe’s coffee van and free craft activities for families. Stallholders with

complementary wares are invited to take part (no ready-to-consume food or drinks).

The Castlemaine Artists’ Market is a colourful, diverse, and vibrant event where local and regional designers and artists can showcase and sell their work.

The Kensington Market was established to showcase the local talent and craftmanship that is alive and thriving in the Kensington and Flemington areas and surrounding precincts.  Held monthly at the well positioned and easily accessible Kensington Town Hall, the market provides artists with a wonderful platform to display their craft, perform and be an integral part of the artist and maker community.

Creswick Market is open 9am ‘till 1pm, on the third Saturday of every month, rain or shine.

I’m trying out the Coburg makers Market on Saturday the 19th! It’s a weekend long event filled with lots of awesome local makers but I’ll just be there for the Saturday. It’s the only market I have booked this month so if you’d like to grab some of my work without the added postage costs make it a nice day out!

Head down to The District Makers Market to enjoy 70-100 creative, colourful market stalls showcasing art, craft, jewellery, fashion, homewares and gifts.

Bring your furry friends along as The District is a pet-friendly precinct and you’ll find stalls selling doggie treats, accessories and outfits. Grab a coffee and take a stroll through

the open-air laneways and enjoy a spot of shopping.
