To see the world, things dangerous to come to Giclee Print

from A$15.00

An archival print of the ‘To see the world, things dangerous to come to,' illustration. A signed and titled artwork illustrating one of the places explored in the film: Nuuk, Greenland based on the film 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty'. A waterfront dotted with houses against the backdrop of the Sermitsiaq mountains. Details of hikers and hidden houses can be found along with a postal helicopter.

‘To see the world, things dangerous to come to,

to see behind walls, to draw closer,

to find each other, and to feel.

That is the purpose of life.’

This quote is from a wonderful film called ‘The Secret Life of Walter Mitty’. The film shows the contrast of a nine to five job and chasing your imagination. Mitty’s drive takes him to Greenland, Iceland, and the Himalayas seeking out photojournalist Sean O’Connell for Life Magazine. The story reflects the struggle of regular life and possibilities of more.

From this I have split Life’s motto into three artworks that explore life in different places around the world and reflect the beauty in nature and culture found in travel.

This illustration is printed on 310 gsm, 100% cotton rag, textured fine art paper using archival quality inks.

The paper size variations available in A6, A5, A4 and A3.

Includes Certificate of authenticity

This artwork will be packed with acid free backing card, and wrapped in clear cellophane for protection. Shipped in waterproof protective packaging through the Australian Post.
