Mycena interrupta is a species of mushroom. It has a Gondwanan distribution pattern, being found in Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia and Chile. In Australia, it is found in Victoria, Tasmania, New South Wales, South Australia, and Queensland.

One of three mini artworks made for the ‘All The Leaves are Brown’ group exhibition at BSIDE Gallery. The show had an autumn theme and at the time I had been seeing mushrooms popping up on my day trip outings and wanted to draw mushrooms found in Australia.

This illustration is printed on 310 gsm, 100% cotton rag, textured fine art paper using archival quality inks.

This print comes with an acid free backing card, and is wrapped in clear biodegradable cellophane for protection. Shipped flat through Australia Post.
