Leratiomyces ceres, commonly known as the chip cherry or redlead roundhead, is mushroom which has a bright red to orange cap and dark purple-brown spore deposit.

One of three mini artworks made for the ‘All The Leaves are Brown’ group exhibition at BSIDE Gallery. The show had an autumn theme and at the time I had been seeing mushrooms popping up on my day trip outings and wanted to draw mushrooms found in Australia.
