Autumn Fox artwork made for the ‘All The Leaves are Brown’ group exhibition at BSIDE Gallery.
As a primarily black and white artist I often get asked, ‘Do you do colour?’. I generally just do this for client work but as I would be creating a new artwork for this show I wanted to take the opportunity to explore adding colour to my inky style.
My A3 artwork ‘Autumn Fox’ is drawn in my detailed ink work and coloured with watercolour paint on 300gsm paper. It shows a fox looking up at a bat that is hanging from a tree that is loosing it’s leaves. The floor is covered in leafy colour with mushrooms and pumpkins.
