Over the past couple of years I’ve kept a personal arts practice creating whimsically detailed ink drawings inspired by fairytales and vintage stories. I now have a collection of these nostalgic black and white illustrations and have designed my first ever calendar for 2026!

Here you’ll find recreations of Alice in Wonderland, the Secret Garden, Winnie the Pooh and more, with a different artwork for each month of the year.

With a background in design alongside my illustration practice I enjoy taking artworks and repurposing them onto different surfaces. For the calendar cover I’ve taken bits and pieces from almost every artwork featured inside and designed a pattern of them all together.

In this design you can find characters from the Wizard of Oz amongst Alice’s flowers, and cakes and pasties from Little women next to a mermaid. I’ve added a mixture of beige and cream backgrounds that give warm tones and highlight the contrast of whites and blacks of the original artworks.

On the inside pages each month you’ll find a complimenting quote next to the artwork and space on the calendar page to write notes or a to do list. The calendar itself does not mention holidays or titles specific to particular places so it can by utilised and personalised to wherever you are in the world.

The 2026 Enchanted Stories calendar is a collection of my story and fairytale themed illustrations from past creations. I now have enough artworks made to celebrate these pieces together in a calendar!
